Product Description

Instruction Sheet. Brochure. Greenlee 645-1-3/4 Specs: Needs 645-011 arbor (sold separately). It's a 1-3/4' (44.4 mm) Quick-Change Stainless Steel Carbide-Tipped Hole Cutter for 1-1/4' conduit. Features: Cuts stainless steel fast and easy. The Quick-Change arbor lets you swap cutter heads simply by pushing and turning. Use one arbor for various cutter sizes. Removable cutter heads range from 5/8' to 3'. A flange stop prevents over-drilling. Ejector springs on sizes over 3/4' make slug removal a breeze. It has a replaceable cobalt-steel pilot drill with a split-point tip to stop wandering. Precision carbide teeth ensure top performance and long-lasting durability. Minimum chuck size is 3/8' (9.5 mm).

Using this Greenlee hole cutter is a breeze. First, make sure you have the 645-011 arbor (which you'll need to buy separately). Attach the cutter head to the arbor with a simple push and turn. When drilling, place the cutter on the stainless - steel surface and start your drill. The split - point tip of the pilot drill will keep it from wandering. The flange stop will prevent you from drilling too deep. Once you're done drilling, if the cutter size is over 3/4', the ejector spring will help you remove the slug easily. For maintenance, after each use, clean the cutter to remove any debris. Check the carbide teeth regularly. If they're worn out, it might be time to replace the cutter head. Store the cutter in a dry place to prevent rust. Also, keep in mind the minimum chuck size of 3/8' (9.5 mm) when using it with your drill.
