Using the Greenlee 645-002 is easy. First, make sure your drill has a chuck size of at least 3/8 inches (9.5 mm). When drilling stainless steel, the drill's precision carbide teeth and split - point pilot drill will give you excellent results. The flange stop will prevent you from drilling too deep. For sizes above 3/4 inches, the ejector spring will help you remove the slug easily. As for maintenance, keep the drill clean after each use.
